I'm a 30 yr old single mom of the greatest 12 yr old daughter anyone could ask for. I had a bone tumor removed from my skull 8 yrs old (my mom did drugs, drank and smoked while she was pregnant with me, so the dr's say it was a birth defect). I've had a headache everyday of my life for the last 12 yrs - seriously. I also have seizures. Almost 10 days ago, I had around 15 seizures which caused me to stop breathing. I was in ICU for 24 hrs. I only work part time cause A. I have to work close to home since I'm not allowed to drive and B. I really love my job. I'm just having a hard time paying any bills. And due to all of my medical issues and lack of insurance, I pay all of my dr appts and meds out of pocket. I can't qualify for Medicaid or anything else cause I "make too much money". I HATE asking for help....whatever help it may be...but I have a wonderful child that deserves the world and then some. So I need to find a way to get my medical stuff and bills taken care of so I can do something....anything for her. We didn't have a bday party for her this year because well....I just can't afford it. And even though I've been in constant pain for almost 12 yrs and am an epileptic, I still don't qualify for partial SSI or disability. I pray to God EVERYDAY to help me get through all of this, and I know He helps, but I'm so deep right now I don't know what else to do. If any of you have any ideas, I would gratefully appreciate it.
